Community Organizer, Paula Tarver, will lead an interactive course on basic cheesemaking!
This is a 2 hour class. Each participating student will learn to make soft cheese, cottage cheese, hard cheese, and Ricotta cheese. We’ll also talk about making yogurt and kefir. Class size is limited to 8 participating and shared batch students. Most will also need to stand to be able to see.
A cheese press for hard cheese is available for advance purchase for $45. The deadline to purchase a press is 7 days before the class date. A cheese press is not necessary, but does make it easier.
